Judges

Lawbringers of Sector 102

Sector 102 Judges

Sector Chief Voke

Sector Chief Voke rose quickly through the ranks to his position. His quick wit and keen observation have kept him alive in situations where others would have died. He is ruthless and efficient regarding his Sector, and under his watch, some major crime syndicates have been brought low.

Rumours abound about his physical features as he definitely bears an uncanny resemblance to the late Chief Judge Cal and it is strongly hinted that Voke may be a Clone of the former Judge..

Watch Leader Judge Plyton

Judge Plyton - Watch Leader Alpha of Sector House 102. As part of the triarchy of Watch Leaders, Plyton is in command of the overall sector during her watch. Keeping a watchful eye on criminal activity, it is up to Plyton to prioritize which crimes to investigate and which to ignore. Her stern, cold, ruthless mannerisms have made her the perfect Watch Leader, as she will put the good of the Sector before the Judges or Citizens under her watch.

Judge Plyton has had a distinguished career and was once offered entry into the SJS. But due to her training within the Riot Squad, she turned the role down, knowing she could do more for the city staying within the Street division. Plyton rarely goes down to the streets, but when she does, she is guaranteed to crack some thug skulls.

Riot Judge Priad

Judge Lucas Priad was singled out in the academy for specialist Hand to Hand Combat training. Turns out he has a mean streak, nothing to warrant discharge from the Academy and in fact, he passed his final year with honours. But this mean streak showcases itself in a heavy handiness when dealing with perps and the public in general.

After being stationed at Sector 102, Judge Priad became part of the Department's Riot Control team. Never truly showing leadership qualities before, Priad soon found himself acting as a mentor to Half-Eagle Judges, who look to him for mentorship during riots. This newly found role as a mentor has seemingly calmed down his heavy handiness, and his abilities soon became more controlled and deadly.

Next time you are rioting be sure to avoid JudGe Priad unless you want a trip to the hospital.

Street Judge Nayl

Judge Nayl from Sector 102 finished in the top 5% of his year. Having graduated, he was assigned to Sector 102 to help deal with the rising troubles in the flooded dockyards known as the Swamp. Here, long-range weaponry is critical, so Judge Nayl favours a Widowmaker 2000. This weapon allows for range combat over the flooded yard while giving him access to corridor clearance frag and Stumm shots.

Overall, Nayl is viewed as a fair judge towards the citizens and has been known to go out of his way to assist a citizen who is trying to survive in the swamps. But if you cross the line, Nayl will be sure to enact swift justice upon you!

Street Judge Fischig

Brought initially into Sector 102 under strange circumstances following a massive crackdown by the SJS on neighbouring Sector House 103. Where it is believed Judge Fischig aided in bringing down a terrible conspiracy. Judge Fischig is a straight-edged Judge, thinking everything is black and white and that no grey area can exist within the law. This has led to conflict and issues with other Judges who believe Judge Fischig's style of Judgement borders on the extreme and is too harsh.

Only time will tell if Judge Fischig will last in Sector 102 or if he will be transferred once more.

Street Judge Riceburgh

Veteran Street Judge Riceburgh - aka - The Babysitter. Riceburgh has been a long-standing Judge in Sector 102 and remembers the old days before the Robot Wars and Chaos Bug. He sadly has watched his beloved city become a shell of its former glory but has vowed to continue serving while he can. His most recent assignment is to look after Hapshant, the new PSI judge. This has annoyed Riceburgh as it has pulled him away from the "Swamps" and his hunt of the Swamp Skunks gang. Luckily, though, Riceburgh can now rely upon Hapshant's skills to locate possible target locations of the gang and get a step ahead!

PSI Judge Hapshant

Freshly transferred from Sector House 301, PSI Judge Hapshant joined the Sector House 102 team with hopes of strengthening the understaffed team. Specializing in the aggressive arts of possession, Hapshant has proven himself effective in the field and has been a real asset in gang hideout busts. Now given charge of a small team, it has fallen to Hapshant and his group to start patrolling the locally known area "The Swamp".

Riot Judge Petrok

Judge Petrok - Having completed the Academy of Law, Petrok had developed a reputation for being a hothead. Rather than risk her losing it on the streets, they transferred Petrok to the Riot Squad in an attempt to focus her "skills." She soon showed a natural talent for cracking heads and seemed to shine best when using the Riot Foam guns. Following the Chaos Day disaster, Petrok transferred to Sector 102 and joined the active Riot Squad there.

Judge Prince

Judge Prince was once a highly respected member of the Sector 102 force, with one of the best arrest records in the sector. Unfortunately, following a raid into the Swamps area, Judge Prince was exposed to an unknown fungus that caused him to suffer a psychological breakdown while on patrol in the Gav Thorpe Block Mall. Judge Prince believed an alien force was attacking him and began shooting. Following the deaths of three citizens, Judge Prince was declared Futsie and was confronted by Judge Silar.

Cadet Monk

Cadet Monk was among four cadets (Monk, Giant, Ekerson, and Santando) who successfully evaded being hunted by the Dark Judge Mortis during Necropolis. Finally escaping his decaying touch, the team found themselves in the undercity, where they managed to rescue the injured Judge Anderson. Here they also managed to contact Judge Dredd and Ex-Chief McGruder before the team aided in rescuing the city.

Errors were definitely made on the model, as it shouldn't have the red strip, but hey, it happens. Hope you enjoy it and will check out my videos.

Judge Veegum

After completing his first year on the streets, Judge Veegum has recently been promoted to full eagle judge. Judge Veegum has a quiet and reserved persona, though some say he is rude or arrogant. But life is hard as a sniper Judge, and currently, this fresh-faced Judge is all Sector 102 has. Originally hailing from Uranium City, Veegum signed up as part of the influx of judge transfers following the day of chaos and has taken to Mega-City life as expected.

Perp best be aware of Veegum, though chances are high that it will already be too late by the time they know he is there.

Cadet Kali Diderot

Cadet Judge Kali Diderot is fresh from the Academy and has joined the ranks of Sector House 102 as part of the cadet group tasked with assisting in the rebuilding. Hailing originally from Brit-Cit, Diderot has shown great skill at blending in with the locals and is quick for his age. He was not top of the class, but he was a solid all-rounder. Only time will tell if Diderot will progress to a half-eagle Judge.

Judge Silar

Judge Silar is one of the newest recruits to Sector 102. He completed his first day on the streets (link to the video) and took down a Futsie street judge. He is known among his fellow judges as a tight-ass, strict-to-the-rules fellow. But as all veterans know, the streets will soon change his outlook on life and rules. Can this fresh-faced Academy graduate survive long enough to reach a veteran status? Only time will tell.

Rookie Judge Chouch

Chouch’s early weeks on the beat were a trial by fire. Her first solo patrol ended in disaster when a routine noise disturbance became a gang ambush. She barely escaped with her life, requiring backup from Silar to regain control of the situation. Though reprimanded for failing to call for support earlier, the incident taught her a hard lesson about Mega-City One’s unpredictability.

Reknown Judges

Judge Dredd

Mega-City One in the 22nd century was a vast urban nightmare situated along the east coast of post-apocalyptic North America. The irradiated wasteland known as The Cursed Earth to the west, covering most of America, and the polluted Black Atlantic to the east. Home to 400 million citizens, crammed into gigantic city blocks, overcrowding is rife, unemployment endemic, and boredom universal. Tensions run a constant knife edge, and crime is rampant. Only the Judges can prevent total anarchy. Empowered to dispense instant justice, these lawmen are judge, jury and executioner. Judge Joseph Dredd is the toughest of them all, and he is the Law!

PSI Judge Anderson

Judge Cassandra Anderson is from the PSI Division of the Justice Department of Mega-City One. Like her namesake from antique myth, she has psychic powers. In addition to being able to sense approaching danger and foresee events of the near future, she is also telepathic. This allows her to read other people's minds and use mental attacks. As a young child, her abilities attracted the attention of the PSI Division, a branch of the Justice Department, which uses trained psychics to prevent and tackle criminal behaviour, and she was taken from her family to undergo intensive training alongside other cadets at The Academy of Law.

Wally Judge Point

Point claims to be a former member of the Judges of Mega-City One dismissed for the use of excessive force, who has since become a private detective in the city's Angeltown district, frequently encountering crimes of "The Boss." In fact, he is still a serving Judge who is deep undercover with the so-called Wally Squad, a significant part of his cover being the fact that he appears to be a 'Simp,' a follower of the Church of Simpology, who embraces the absurdity of life in the City by dressing and behaving outrageously and ridiculously.

Jack habitually dresses himself as a clown. Narcissistic and unreliable, Jack has adopted a persona reminiscent of mid-20th century American gumshoe private eyes and plays a continual internal monologue to himself. He delights in breaking the rules of conduct laid down for Judges, frequently drinking intoxicating liquor (he has a fondness for Jack Daniels) and conducting a romantic and sexual relationship with former Judge and fellow P.I. Galen DeMarco.

Wally Judge Dirty Frank

An erudite and cultured but deeply unhygienic individual, he was initially Judge Frank, a street Judge in Mega-City One. Then he lost an eye and, apparently, his mind on a mission for the secretive Judge Smiley, then Chief of Black Ops. It seems he both saw and did things that drove him over the brink of sanity, telling Smiley, "I can't go back! I died out there! I felt it happen!" Smiley threw him a lifeline: become a completely different person and wipe away all memories of what he had witnessed and the acts he had committed.

Now calling himself 'Dirty Frank' (there may be a reason for the name beyond his body odour), the insane but intensely loyal Judge joined the Wally Squad in 2103 AD. He wound up living in the Low Life, the city's most crime-ridden area, under the nominal supervision of his controller, Judge Thora.

Wally Judge Aimee Nixon

Aimee Nixon is a character in the 2000 AD strips Low Life and Judge Dredd. She was born in the Low Life, the most deprived and run-down area of Mega-City One, in 2097 AD. When she was a child, she saw her mother murdered by a strange man who told Aimee that he was her father and had done it so the two could be together. Aimee picked up the gun he had dropped and shot him with it, blowing half of his face off. When the Judges arrived, she told them she had killed the man in self-defence. Her upbringing in the Low Life had given her the natural ability to hoodwink any lie detector, so she was believed.

Aimee later became a cadet Judge, graduating from the Academy of Law (where she was a "grade-A student") at eighteen. Because she was such a good liar, she was put in the Justice Department's so-called Wally Squad (undercover Judges who pretend to be ordinary citizens or perps) and lived in the Low Life under the nominal supervision of Judge Thora. Tough and uncompromising, Aimee voluntarily had her left arm removed and replaced with a comparatively crude bionic arm as part of her cover.

After she'd spent eleven years in the Wally Squad, Aimee was manipulated by a conspiracy of crooked Judges who murdered two of her friends. Corrupted by experiences like this, she became a crime boss in the Low Life under the alias of 'the Big Man.' A fight over territory led to her being kidnapped by yakuza, who removed her flesh-and-blood arm. Aimee was arrested by her former comrade and mentor, Dirty Frank, in Hondo City.

Judge Grice

Grice was a distinguished and charismatic street judge in Mega-City One, holding the rank of Senior Judge. During Necropolis in 2112, he had been one of the judges brainwashed into serving the Dark Judges.

He's shown at first to honestly believe that the Judges are the best thing for Mega-City One and opposed the referendum because he believes that the citizens would vote to disband the Judges. Still, he started to become more of an extremist when he, along with dozens of his fellow Judges, started a conspiracy to assassinate Judge Dredd, but it failed, and he was sent to Titan.

The conditions on Titan have made Grice a man full of hatred and anger, and after starting a mass breakout, he slaughtered the guards and the governor; he then launched an invasion of the Big Meg and had a callous disregard for the civilians he's supposed to be protecting, such as crashing ships into buildings and unleashing the deadly Meat Virus which numerous people. He also treats his men horribly, such as coldly executing one of the most dedicated men who was part of the conspiracy to assassinate Dredd.

In the end, he went utterly insane and psychotic and started destroying the Grand Hall of Justice and slaughtering his men.

Judges of the World

Judge Ben Gallagher - Cal Hab

Ben Gallagher was born of Irish ancestry but was born and raised within the Strathmeg conurbation. Having witnessed his parent's brutal murder by the local gangs, Gallagher joined the semi-autonomous Judge force, hoping to one day run crime out of Strathmeg.

Ben Gallagher excels in close combat and mastered the use of the broadsword in both an offensive and defensive manner. This skill soon earned him a fearsome reputation in the Cal-Hab highlands. Sadly this attention gained the watchful eyes of Brit-Cit, and fearing he could become a future issue for the department, especially if he became a Barrack Chief, they shipped Gallagher to Luna-1 for a tour of duty before then sent him off to MC-1 for a cultural exchange program.

In MC-1, Gallagher was soon thrust upon Sector House 102, where he can be seen sporting his Celtic Helmet and Kilt on the mean streets. Here he has excelled and made many "friends" among the local Judges, but weirdly he has been targeted many times by attackers even when there have been easier targets, leading many within MC-1 Justice Department to believe he is a target of an assassination attempt.

Judge B. Hogg

Judge B. Hogg (better known as "Boss" Hogg) is a member of the Texas Rangers and is tasked with patrolling the far side of the Alabama Morass in a zone known as Hazzard County, located in what was Georgia state. This area of the Cursed Earth is plagued by a Mutie Family known locally as the "Dukes." And so far, Boss Hogg has failed to control their actions.

With this zone so far away from Texas City's watching eyes, Boss Hogg has developed a bad habit of unethical behaviours, including smoking cigars and taking the odd bride, to name a few. But recently, Hogg has been hearing rumours about sugar runners heading to Mega-City One in the area, and everyone needs to pay their fees.

Judge Bruce - Sydney Conurb

A judge in the Sydney-Melbourne Conurb, Judge Lenny Bruce was Judge Dredd's liaison and partner when Judge Dredd came to Australia on the trail of both the Judda and Chopper in 2110. Bruce was a highly laid-back officer, stunned by his American counterpart's more brutal methods. He eventually tired of Dredd's obsession with catching Chopper, who had broken no Oz laws, and snapped at him and overrode Judge Dredd's authority, allowing Chopper safe passage. Later, when StigCorp was targeting Chopper, the skysurfer tried to contact Judge Bruce for aid – the judge was transferred to Chunder Range before that could happen.

When Judgement Day broke out in 2114, Judge Bruce battled the zombies in Oz and later died as part of the multi-national Judge force sent to end the crisis. Before his death, he showed friendly relations with Judge Sergeant Joyce and Johnny Alpha.

Judge inspector Tanaka Jiro

As part of a judicial exchange program, Tanaka Jiro is sent packing to Mega-City One, where he soon discovers they do things differently. Shocked by the brute force of the Justice Department and the way the citizens treat the Judges. Jiro struggles with daily life in the Big Meg and the crushing isolation. Highly skilled in self-defense and deadly with his Tenco staff, Jiro has rapidly become a favourite with the Riot Team squad of Sector House 102 and can be found training the squad in his free time.

For Jiro a year feels like it will pass very slowly here in MC-1.

Dead World Judges

Judge Death

The "alien super-fiend," Judge Death, is the founder and leader of the Dark Judges and is considered an arch-enemy to Judge Dredd and Judge Anderson. Because he cannot be permanently killed, he is the most recurring villain of the Judge Dredd stories. He is one of Judge Dredd's most notorious adversaries.

After eliminating all life on his Earth, turning it into Deadworld, the other three Dark Judges are satisfied they can rest now, but Judge Death is increasingly restless. When alien explorers from another dimension appear, Death kills them and takes their dimension-hopping technology, concluding he must spread death to other Earths too. The other Dark Judges don't think this is necessary, so Death travels alone to Judge Dredd's Earth. Despite his power, he is defeated by Judge Dredd and Psi-Judge Cassandra Anderson. After his body is destroyed, his mind is telepathically imprisoned by Anderson. He is freed a year later, becoming a frequent menace to Mega-City One and Dredd while developing a particular hatred for Judge Anderson. Judge Death later remarks that he and Anderson share a telepathic link, and he can never truly rest while she still lives.
