Star Wars Miniatures Force Unleashed STAR DESTROYER OFFICER #40 Imperial

"Imperial officers aren't known for flexibility."

―Captain Raymus Antilles

Recently, I rediscovered my old Star Wars Wizard of the Coast miniatures. Initially, I was excited as I thought they would scale with the Star Legion game. Sadly, they did not. So I sorted through the models, keeping some to use in Judge Dredd as citizens/muties and some to sell. As I photographed the models I planned to sell, it felt right to photograph and showcase them here with some Star Wars lore. I hope you enjoy it!

Imperial Officer

Imperial officers held a position of authority and responsibility in the military forces and some civilian elements of the Galactic Empire.

When the Empire succeeded the Galactic Republic after the end of the Clone Wars, most officers were tasked with overseeing the Imperial Army and Navy. At the same time, some lead the stormtroopers, shock troops of the new regime.

After the signing of the Galactic Concordance, the position of Imperial officer was made illegal as part of the disarmament, and anyone who did not adhere to the terms of surrender to the New Republic was to be designated as a war criminal.
